2014/05/14 Completion of CHEMILES ETV Test and Final ETV Test Report

NAGAOKA proudly announces that our CHEMILES has received an approval from American Environmental Protection Agency (USA EPA) and NSF International for use of CHEMILES as water purification of drinking water. This approval is given on April 9th, 2014 and is the first and the only Japanese ever successfully completed.

ETV Test of CHEMILES was conducted at Clark Public Utilities in Washington State under cooperation with CH2MHill, our partner in the U.S market. CHEMILES has verified its performance of the reduction of multiple inadequate contaminants including Iron, Manganese, Ammonia, and Arsenic. In addition, other 21 water quality parameters, as well as system operation parameters, were also measured in order to provide a comprehensive system evaluation.

ETV Test is a program developed by EPA to verify the performance of innovative technologies that have the potential to improve protection of human health and the environment as well as provide credible performance data of commercial-ready environmental technologies to speed up their implementation into the U.S market. Many States in the U.S recognize ETV Report as highly reliable and comprehensive Test Report to support the use of new technologies and facilities in drinking water application. Also, pilot testing of drinking water treatment systems for products would be allowed for reduced or omitted with acceptable ETV Report.

The ETV Test Report has proved that our CHEMILES technology is effective for high-speed removal of high contaminant of Iron, Manganese, Ammonia and Arsenic in groundwater without injection of chemicals. This official ETV Test Report is expected to accelerate our marketing of CHEMILES in the U.S market.
