NAGAOKA has sponsored and exhibited company's technologies at "37th WEDC International Conference & Exhibition", which was held during September 15 to 19 in Hanoi and co-organized by National University of Civil Engineering ? Vietnam, Loughborough University ? England and Vietnam Water and Sewerage Association.
This event brought together more than 500 delegates from over 30 countries to share current experiences and emerging knowledge, country policy in the field of water supply and sanitation. The opening ceremony welcomed Vice minister of Ministry of Construction (cum Chairman of Vietnam Water and Sewerage Association), delegates from Ministry of Education, universities' rectors, top executives of waterworks companies, oversea delegates, and our CEO & President ? Mr. Mimura was invited to give a speech on behalf of sponsors.
Our exhibition booth has introduced our technologies and our world water business to many visitors from Vietnam domestic, such as authorities (especially in the field of water resources and construction), waterworks, consultant companies, and to overseas visitors as well as our customers from Japan and their representatives in Vietnam. Our exhibition booths attracted local high attention and had press coverage by Vietnam Television, Hanoi Television.
During the event, NAGAOKA and Hanoi Waterworks Company also held a mid-term report meeting regarding CHEMILES Pilot Plant Project being carried out at Tuong Mai Water Treatment Plant. The Pilot System is continuously showing very high treatment efficiency. Hanoi Waterworks Company highly evaluated results of CHEMILES Pilot Plant Project and is considering to apply our CHEMILES to their planning projects.
Exhibiting in this event, we have successfully shown our water related technologies not only to Vietnam but also to other developing countries. NAGAOKA will further make our best contribution to the world for solving various water problems.
