On August 26th, 2015, NAGAOKA welcomed 11 JICA Participants from 9 countries. Most Participants are engineers and administrators who are in charge of public water supply. Their main purpose of the visit is to learn more about "Water Supply System in Japan" which is organized by JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), HIECC (Hokkaido International Exchange and Cooperation Centre), and Sapporo City Waterworks. This is the fifth year for NAGAOKA to host such JICA Participants, and we introduced our innovative water-related technologies and products.
It was our second time this year to host JICA Participants, and the main theme of the training was "Water-related Technologies for River-bed Water and Groundwater". We gave presentation on:
1) NAGAOKA's Corporate Profile and Business Fields
2) NAGAOKA Screen and Water Intake Technology
3) HiSIS, High-speed Seabed Infiltration System
4) CHEMILES, Extremely High Speed Chemical-less Groundwater Treatment
5) ENERLES, Water Treatment System without Energy nor Chemicals
6) NAGAOKA's World Water Business
After presenting our technologies and products, we have guided them to our Kaizuka Factory, to introduce the process of producing NAGAOKA Screen and the principles of CHEMILES with demonstration equipment.
This training was mainly organized by young staffs in NAGAOKA, and at the end of the program we held Welcome Reception for the trainees. This program gave us the opportunity to interact with professionals and better understanding of problems that people face around the world.
NAGAOKA will continue to contribute globally with our innovative technologies and products for the supply of safe and sustainable water.
